Reform of the law enforcement agencies in the region:; a view from within (sociological analysis on the example; of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia through; the Khabarovsk territory)

Abstract

The article examines the results of the reform of the Minis-try of Internal Affairs of Russia based on the data of sociological survey of employees of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation through the Khabarovsk terri-tory and the subordinate units [1]. Its imperatives were the mod-ernization of the organization of activity of the internal affairs bodies, their personnel, financial and logistical support. On the basis of the data obtained, the authors come to the conclusion that the reform of law enforcement agencies in relation to the specified units in its separate areas has yielded mixed results. On the one hand, the employees are focused on the performance of official duties on the principles of legality and professionalism. On the other hand, achievements of the material plan are leveled by the socio-economic problems. The results of the study actual-ize a need for additional measures to eliminate problem areas in the work of the employees.
