Независимая оценка качества чтения и понимания текста учащимися школы: социологический анализ

Abstract

The article presents the results of sociological analysis of the research process of studying texts and features of their understanding by the primary school pupils of the Khabarovsk territory schools. The author points out the factors and conditions that having an impact on the quality of reading and understanding text by the junior schoolchildren. Among them: family resources, parental attitude to reading, classes for the preschool age children, kindergarten attendance, pupils attitude to the reading, teachers demographic characteristics. The results of the independent education quality evaluation in the region is compared with the international comparative research results on the researched topic. It also offers a list of scientific and practical recommendations that can be used to increase the younger pupils reading literacy.
