Abstract
The paper is devoted to the cultural changes in the Far North-East of the USSR in the 20th – 40th of the twentieth century. Special attention is paid to the education of the indigenous peoples of the region, a variety of ways of the work with the different categories of population are reveaeds as well as the training of the national staff.
