This scientifi article presents analysis of the results of regional sociological study «Youth of the Khabarovsk territory: state, problems and development prospects,» which reveals the features of intra-family confl psychological well- being of young people. It is important to understand that the social comfort and psychological well-being of youth in the family is largely determined by both the presence and scale of intra-family confl and the ability of family members to effectively mitigate and resolve them. Therefore, it was important for us to identify the presence and frequency of family confl their causes and methods of resolving, as well as the demand for psychological assistance and support by young people. Results of the study revealed the prevalence of intra-family confl associated to a greater extent with the characteristics of interpersonal relationships. Young people demonstrated the high level of need for psychological help and support related largely to the self-esteem and self-acceptance, indicating diffi in youth interaction with others. The revealed high level of anxiety of consciousness of young people is caused by the uncertainty of various conditions of their life. In this connection, the youth of the Khabarovsk territory demonstrated special request for psychological assistance and support from the state authorities implementing the youth policy.

The paper presents the theoretical analysis of some sociological approaches to assessing of the youth policy implementation effectiveness. This analysis makes possible to draw a number of main conclusions. The effectiveness of youth policy is understood as a qualitative transformations of youth (values, motives, actions, satisfaction) which led to the conditions created for its development. To a greater extent, effectiveness of the youth policy implementation should be measured sociologically. And for this it is advisable to develop a multi-level system of indicators that takes into account the quantitative and qualitative parameters of the state and development of the youth. It should be noted that assessment of effectiveness of the youth policy implementation should correspond to: the needs of young people (meeting the needs of young people and their most signifi problems of life), formation of its values and meanings (ethical, legal, social, spiritual and moral, etc.) impact on the youth development (self-realization, social and psychological stability), increasing its role in the development of youth policy itself (youth subjectivity), formation of its cultural space and self-determination (assessment of cultural space formed around the young people and creating of this space by the young people themselves; assessment of features of the youth self-determination, patriotism and its national identity as an integral indicator of its socialization in the society).

The article presents the analysis of the results of the sociological study of young families in the Khabarovsk Territory from the point of view of their values and ideological attitudes. It was important for us to understand what family values and value orientations dominate in the minds and behavior of modern young families. To what extent are the family and the birth of children valued by young families? What terminal and instrumental values are young families guided by in their everyday life? What problems do young families face and how do they overcome them? The analysis of these issues allowed us to identify the specifics of the attitude of young families to them. In modern conditions, we can see the transformation of family values associated with both modern civilizational trends (sociocultural ideas, priority of material values, egocentrism in the attitudes of young people) as well as with the imbalance of continuity of family relations in intergenerational development (young families are less likely to be like their parents' families). Despite the above-mentioned trends, such values as family and happy family life are significant for the vast majority of young people. The preferences of young families are focused on having children, love and comfortable family relationships that are of great importance to them. However, young families associate the birth of children, especially the second and subsequent ones, with the solution of two main problems: financial and housing. At the same time, young people justify the postponement of the birth of their first child by the desire to live for themselves, develop in the profession, and build a career. The identified potential for conflict in young families, associated largely with domestic and financial problems, disagreements about raising children and lack of mutual understanding between spouses, actualizes the need to develop advisory assistance and support, including psychological one.

The article studies the values of modern families, their infl on the younger generation, the features of child-parent relationship and moral orientations of children, adolescents, and young people. While studying the topic the author found out that at the micro level of relationship there is a decline in the old traditions of family education and a family crisis, as well as psycho-emotional stress in the younger generation. At the macro level, modern children, teenagers, and young people are completely dependent on the condition in which they live, which in turn affects their self-determination in life. The article proves the need and expediency of implementing the author's developed programs aimed at harmonizing the parent-child relationship, forming a holistic and harmonious personality of a child who is aware of his/her place in the world and knows what it means to “be an adult”. These programs also help children and young people form ideas about important social and moral norms of life in relationship within the family and strengthen trusting relationship.
