Abstract
At present, the number of crimes related to the illegal extraction of biological resources is still growing. This causes a great damage to the national interests of Russia. Investigating the crimes related to the protection of water biological resources, the border agencies of FBI of Russia deal with certain peculiarities connected with the specifics of their activity. This activity in its practice helps to investigate crimes in the border sphere.
