Misdemeanor prevention among the law enforcement officials (experimental research)

Abstract

Within the experimental research major preventive measures were identified and described, the social-psychological preventive strategy was worked out. The author’s (L.Sinitsyna’s) technique was used to define three groups of law enforcement officials: those with positive social reaction, those with satisfying social reaction and those with misdemeanor reaction. The defined groups were involved in the research of deterring, preventing and eradicating misdemeanors. It was developed a program for group and individual cooperation with officials. Great attention was paid to the social-psychological preventive strategy, to forming values, to improving the moral environment in divisions, to developing communicational standards in the divisions, to developing skills of self-regulation and reflection.
