Imansk boundary group of the Primorsk district of the People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs of the USSR in the Harbino-Girinsk offensive operation: experience of preparation

Abstract

In the article the experience of preparation of the Imansk boundary group of the Primorsk boundary district to the Harbino-Girinsk offensive operation during the war with Japan 1945 is considered. Preparatory events were held reserved and had to provide suddenness of the operations. The content of the work of the governing bodies of the border troops on planning of the military operations and the control organization is opened. During the direct preparation of the Harbino-Girinsk offensive operation to the boundary group the task of destruction of the police posts, pickets, small garrisons in a zone of the army was set. Elimination of these objects allowed the parts of the Red Army to come deep into the territories of the opponent.
