The experience of organization of the cultural leisure of workers in the cities of the Soviet Far East in the 1930th.

Abstract

In this article the process of organization of cultural leisure of the Far- Eastern urban population in the 1930th is shown. The degree of availability of the leisure establishments for the Far- Easterners is analyzed, their role in satisfaction of the cultural needs of citizens is estimated. The Growth of population of the cities during this period was provided at the expense of mass migration to the peasantry city that led to the growth of deviant forms of behavior: alcoholism and hooliganisms. Under the Far-Eastern conditions the situation was aggravated with essential lag of the social and cultural sphere from the temps of urban population. The new citizens who have arrived to the Far-Eastern region from the central regions of the country, felt the deep disappointment generated by the conflict between expectations and reality. The shortage of cultural institutions became one of the reasons of the mass returnable migration of the Far-Eastern urban population.
