To a question of the organization of management of the cross-border tourism in the Jewish Autonomous Region.

Abstract

The Jewish autonomous region is faced by a problem of development and diversification of its economy. This territory possesses rich tourist potential. However it is used not fully. It is impossible to recognize such situation satisfactory as the tourism promotes expansion of employment of the local population, ensuring growth of its standard of living, strengthening of value of cultural historical and ethnic heritage, environment preservation in the conditions of vigorous economic activity. This statement is submitted fair because the Jewish autonomous region borders on China and the tourists from this country have the growing interest to the Russian Priamurye. In this regard as a part of administrative system of JAR it is offered to create the specialized committee on development of the cross-border tourism and its functional sphere is defined.
