Linguistic expertise of the texts of extremist orientation: problems of the theory and practice, destination and production

Abstract

The article considers the role of linguistic expertise in proceedings of extremist criminal cases. The basic directions of work of an expert linguist are revealed, the real criminal cases considered by the courts in the Far Eastern Federal District being analyzed. The article analyzes the various forms and methods of linguistic expertise of texts: (lexical-semantic analysis, and others.). Using the materials of real criminal cases the practicing author proves that results obtained in the course of expertise allow us determine whether the text calls for extremist activity, or whether information materials are aimed at inciting hatred or hostility. The author analyzes the most typical mistakes while carrying out this type of expertise and points out different ways of preventing data errors.
