Formation of the historical image of Ussuriysk in the late XIX – early XX centuries

Abstract

The article is devoted to the forming of Ussuriisk in XIX – XX century. There you can see the main tendencies and factors in the architecture and the city planning development. The role of Ussuriisk as the agricultural, commerce and industry and a military-administrative center is considered. Considerable attention is paid to the forming of the trade infrastructure and business center of the city. An active part in the development of the urban space and the construction of the Ussuriisk citizens, which spatial environment and development Khabarovsk assumed a regular and planned nature is discussed. The author formulates a conclusion that the shape of the city of the end of XIX – the beginning of the XX century was directly connected with the social and economic development of the region and the country as a whole.
