Аннотация
Internationalization of higher education increases the significance of students’ sociocultural adaptation. The article reports the results of a survey study conducted among the foreign students participating in the short-term programs in the Khabarovsk universities. Based on a system approach, the study revealed that macro-level (cultural and institutional) factors influence the adaptation process in a negative way whereas organizational and personal factors are rather positive. The net effect of the system of factors leads to a moderately positive adaptation dynamics at functional, psychological, and cultural identity levels.
