In this article analysis of the results of activity of fuel and energy complex (further – energy industry) the country and its resource oppor-tunities and also the assessment of efficiency of use of the resources and energy security of the energy industry is given. Indicators for the assessment of degree of efficiency of use of resource capacity of the energy industry are offered.

The article considers the methodical approaches to forecasting the development of the regional agricultural sector. It is mentioned, that a number of scientific-methodical issues, connected with the forecasting of regional agro-industrial complex and agrarian business, has not received till now the quite complete solution.
