The article considers the characteristic species projects located in the part of the Criminal code on crimes against the person. The comparative analysis of these offences in the sphere of criminal law, Anglo-Saxon and continental legal systems is given.

The article deals with the problems of prosecutorial supervision over the legality of operational and investigative activities and remedial activities of the preliminary investigation, its main directions at the stage of identifying of violent crime, criminal investigation of such crimes.
