The article presents analysis of the phenomenon of self-identification of youth of the Khabarovsk territory in the context of special military operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine (SMO, special operation). Based on the results of monitoring sociological studies, hypotheses of the relative impact of special operation on the self-identification of young people in the Khabarovsk territory are being tested. It is shown that against the background of SMO, young people demonstrate generally stable socio-psychological state, although part of it expresses a certain concern and anxiety with these events. The results of analysis of the impact of special military operation on changing the youth consciousness in terms of choosing authoritative personalities and leaders for themselves confirmed a high level of confidence in the Russian President V.V. Putin as a person who is able to influence its behavior and be a guide in life. It is justifi that young people with the Far-Eastern and Russian type of self- identification are more involved in the provision of humanitarian assistance to the residents of Donbass, Russian servicemen and volunteers in the zone of the SMO, more often support the decision to conduct special military operation and have fewer acquaintances (regarding the global type of self-identification) who left for another country for permanent residence due to the start of special operation. The results of research and the main conclusions can be used to update state and municipal projects (programs) aimed at increasing the level of conscious and responsible self-identifi of youth and the further development of youth policy in the Khabarovsk Territory.

The article presents the main results of sociological research conducted by the authors over the past ten years, devoted to the problems of self-identification of the youth of the Khabarovsk territory and their life strategies. We have noticed that the state authorities of the country and the region are working to create favorable conditions for the life and development of young people, but this does not have a significant positive impact on changing their migration moods, which over the past three decades have been directed towards changing their place of residence to more favorable regions of Russia or more favorable countries. The conducted sociological studies revealed nine types of self-identification of the youth of the Khabarovsk territory, three of which turned out to be the most interesting from the point of view of migration strategies - this is the Far Eastern (regional) self-identification with a characteristic reduced migration potential and a predominant desire to live in the territory of the region; Russian (state) self-identification with an average migration potential and a desire to change their place of residence within the country to a more comfortable region and global (planetary) self-identification with a high migration potential and a craving for living abroad of our Homeland. Thus, we confirmed the main hypothesis of the study that the determination of the youth's migration strategy is largely determined by its identification with the territory of residence. In the course of sociological measurements, we also found five «social anchors» that have a greater impact on the regional self-determination of young people and their desire to develop here without resorting to changing their place of residence - these are social activity and participation in public activities, entrepreneurship, longterm residence by family clans on the territory of the Khabarovsk territory, the presence of a reproductive family and geographical knowledge of the region. The conclusions we have obtained in the research can be used to substantiate, make changes and evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of state programs aimed at implementing youth policy in the region, the purpose of which is to preserve (increase) the number of young generation in the region, as well as to create favorable living conditions and selfrealization for them.

In this article the empirical analysis of social characteristics of the Far-Eastern youth is given in a section of its identification communities which were allocated as a result of the researches conducted in the three subjects of the Far-Eastern federal district. The author presented an identification portrait of the young Far-Easterners, their valuable orientation, the sphere of interests and the system of authorities, the youth evaluation concerning its patriotic moods, including its relations to the Far-Eastern region of Russia are considered.
