The role of border troops in the Harbino-Girinskaya offensive operation

Abstract

In this article the participation of the units of the Primorsk boundary district in Harbino-Girinsky offensive operation is considered during the war with Japan in 1945. The tasks and the operations procedure of the frontier guards are opened. The description of activity of special groups – the groups of attack created in the armies of the boundary district is given. The main objective of these groups was the liquidation of enemy objects in the front strip. The problems of management by the operations and the communication organizations are opened. The questions of carrying out the educational work are reflected by the carrying out the fighting tasks. Statistical characteristic of the actions productivity of the army units of the Primorsk boundary district is given.
