Тhe level of income as a factor of food consumption by the population of the southern territories of the Far East.

Abstract

The indicators of consumption by the population of the southern areas of the district of the main types of food produced by the region's agricultural industry, are reviewed. The comparison with the national level and recommended rational standards of food consumption was conducted. The influence of natural environment, population, availability of transport network on the possibility of agriculture on the territory of the Far East of Russia is shown. The dependence of the consumption of the basic foodstuffs level, especially more expensive animal husbandry products, from the incomes of population and the problem of increasing the volume of the consumption through the southern regions of the Far East was shown. The necessity of the state regulation of the price growth for main products is proved.
