The article describes the world`s energy resources and the problem of global climate warming. As a solution to the problem of exhaustion of the energy resources and improving the environmental situation the implementation and use of alternative renewable sources of energy (NRSE) are proposed. The Far East of the Russian Federation has a significant potential NRSE.
